Lois Juanita (Finch) Wilson, age 90 of Newcastle, formerly of the Washington area passed away Monday, 26, 2019 in Newcastle.
Lois was born August 14, 1929 in Washington, OK. She was the 2nd of 6 children born to Lee Roy Finch and Ola Mae (Gunter) Finch. Lois grew up in the Dibble and Washington areas where she also attended school. As a young girl she grew up in the country and learned how to work hard in the cotton and broomcorn fields. In 1947, Lois married Cecil Clinton and to this union, 2 sons, David and Jim were born. They first lived in the Woody Chapel area before moving to California in 1948.
Lois worked as a homemaker, wife and mother. She also worked outside of the home throughout her life, working at various jobs.
Lois and her family moved back to Oklahoma in 1967. For a short time she lived in the Blanchard area before moving to Moore. For the past 7 years she has lived with her son David in Newcastle.
Lois was a loving mother and grandmother. In her earlier years she and her family enjoyed camping. She was a wonderful cook and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Lee Roy and Ola Finch; A sister, Inez Morgan-Bassett 4 brothers, Roy Jr., Troy, Loyd and Ricky Finch.
Lois leaves behind: Her sons,? David Clinton and wife Sue of Newcastle, Jim Clinton of Buffalo, Wyoming. 4 grandchildren, David Clinton Jr. and wife Janie of OKC, Alicia Sue Beasley and husband Allen of Tulare, CA, Jimmy Wayne Clinton and wife Tammy of Moore, OK, Steven Wade Clinton of Visalia, CA. Many great and great-great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews;
SERVICES
Family and friends may view and sign her book, anytime on Wed. and Thur. August 28, and 29, 2019 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
A Private Graveside Funeral Services is scheduled for Friday at Washington Cemetery in Washington, OK.
