Robert Wade, age 44 of Washington, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the Purcell Municipal Hospital. Robert Lynn Wade was born September 29, 1971 in Purcell, 1 of 2 children born to Randy Lynn Wade and Bonnie Mae (Johns) Wade. He grew up in Washington and attended Washington Schools. Robert married young and became a father to his first son, Jimmy Lynn. He worked many years for G&M Tank and for the University of Oklahoma. He even roofed some as a self-employed sub-contractor. Robert later met a young mother named Alicia Ellis and her son, Michael. She needed a little help at the time, so Robert rented her a room. The two quickly became more than roommates and a friendship evolved. After nearly 2 years, they followed their hearts and became a couple. Not too long later, their son, Ronnie Lynn was born and completed their family. Robert was a jack of all trades and really a “Mr. Fix It”. He could do anything he set his mind to. He was a strong silent type who could appear very quiet, but he cherished his family and they knew it. Robert was a wonderful husband and father, brother, grandson and a true friend. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: His son, Jimmy Lynn Wade; His parents, Randy and Bonnie Wade and His grandmother, Della Wade.
Robert leaves behind: His wife, Alicia and 2 sons, Michael and Ronnie, of the home; Grandfather, Levoy Wade of Washington; Sister, Lori Mooneyham of Ashfork, AZ; Father and Mother-in-law, Ron and Carolyn Ellis of Purcell and a host of other family and friends.
