Linda Rillema, age 73 of Purcell, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 surrounded by her family at home.

Linda Gail Owens was born September 14, 1943 in Hixson, TN, the 12th of 13 children born to Marion James Owens and Stella Elizabeth (Hipps) Owens. She was raised in Tennessee, attending school there, graduating from Dayton High School in 1960. Linda worked in the convenience store business, and for many years, she owned and operated Linda’s Quick Stop in Lindsay, Purcell and Moore. In 1976, Linda became life partners with Robert Harris Gould. They moved to TN for a brief time in 1979, but relocated to Oklahoma settling in Purcell in 1983. Linda cherished her family and enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and an even better host. For many years, she welcomed her family and friends over for weekly get togethers and cookouts. She enjoyed nature, and being outside and tending to her garden. She was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a true friend. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Marion & Stella Owens and Siblings, Kathryn Holland, Joann Thomasson, Margaret Eakins, Geraldine Havis, Marion Owens Jr., Vernon Owens, Roy Owens, Waylon Owens and Bruce Owens.

Linda Leaves behind: Her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ Gould of the home; Children, Mark Rillema and wife Johnna of Purcell, Rhonda McPherson and husband Mike of Lexington, Tina Smith and husband Jason of Purcell, Theresa Baker and husband David of Purcell, 1 brother, Donnie Owens of Clayton, GA; 1 sister, Maxine Carson of Commerce, GA; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; And a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell. Send online condolences @ wilsonlittle.com.
