Katherine Price, 82, of Cole, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at her home. The daughter of Walter and Anna Brunetta Dean, she was born April 2, 1931 in McClain County, Oklahoma. Katherine worked for many years as a baker for the University of Oklahoma until her retirement. She attended Cole First Baptist Church. In her spare time, Katherine enjoyed working outdoors in her yard and flowerbeds, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She was a talented seamstress and could sew almost anything. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pate Price; one son, Presley Price; a granddaughter, Amanda Price; and two brothers, Henry and Ray Dean.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, LaVitta Wigley of Cole; five grandchildren, Ralonda Russell and her husband, Leon, of Texas, Scott Price and his wife, Becky, of Michigan, Rebecca Price of Cole, Payton Price of Norman, and Justin Wigley of Cole; one great granddaughter, Breanna Presley Price of Cole; two brothers, Lester Dean of Norman and Lewis Dean of Washington; and sisters-in-law, Vada Petty of Norman, Sue Price of Cole and Dovie Weicht of Washington State; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside funeral and burial will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 6, 2013 at Washington Cemetery in Washington. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
