Philip Daniel Machalinski, age 41 of Blanchard, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021
Philip was born November 14, 1979 in Okla. City, the oldest of 3 children born to Richard Raymond Machalinski and Dawn Ellen (Ferren) Machalinski. Philip spent his early years in Okla. City, starting school at Grace Christian Academy. By the time he was in middle school, he had convinced his mom to try homeschooling, of which he completed 3 years. Philip attended Newcastle High School for his Junior and Senior years, and graduated with the Racer Class of 1998. Right out of high school, Philip joined the United States Navy, and served until receiving a medical discharge. He then attended the University of Arts and Sciences in Chickasha, before taking a job as a landman in the oil field. Philip enjoyed his job and the opportunities it presented him to travel and live in North Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado. More recently, he was described as shooting to the top in his new position as a permit specialist for Verita Telecommunications Corporation. Since his childhood Philip’s love of music has led him to play piano and guitar and enjoyed composing as well. He enjoyed video games and anime and was a “green thumb” when it came to gardening. He was fun loving and spirited and he cherished his family. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: baby brother, Jonathan David Machalinski and his grandparents, Don Ferren and Beatrice Poorter and Hillard and Adeline Wanda Machalinski. Uncles, Jimmy Ferren and Mark Fricker and Aunt, Wanda Delaney.
Philip is survived by: his parents, Richard and Dawn Machalinski of Blanchard; older sister Wanda Clary of Littleton, CO; younger sisters, Natalie Weigel and husband Gregory of Eagle River, AK and Adeline Hope Machalinski of Moore, OK; His nieces and nephews, Tyler and Bryce Clary, Xavier, Nadia and Valen; grandfather, Karl Poorter, great aunt, Sylvia Klosowski, Aunt and Uncle Sherrie and David Todd and his beloved cousins.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Washington Cemetery. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com.
