Curtis Ray Hyde, Jr., age 56 of Washington, passed away Saturday March 14, 2020.
He was born April 28, 1963 in Norman, the oldest of 3 children born to Curtis Hyde Sr. and Helen Fern (Rice) Hyde. He was raised primarily in Norman and graduated from Noble High School in 1981. Ray worked a variety of jobs throughout the years. He worked for his dad in the family wrecker service business and also at their service station some. He worked as a Sales Associate for Walmart for a little more than 12 years until recently starting at McDonalds. When he wasn’t working, Ray loved hanging out with his friends, watching movies and attending concerts. He was a gifted musician; a great guitar player and he never missed an opportunity to go fishing. He was a wonderful son, brother, the best uncle and a good friend, and will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by:
His mother, Helen Fern Hyde.
Ray is survived by:
His father, Curtis Hyde Sr. and wife Carolyn of Washington;
His brother, Frankie Hyde and wife Barbara of Washington;
His sister, Melody Manning and husband Randy of Washington;
Nieces and Nephews, Adam Hyde and wife Tangela,
Shane Hyde and wife Marissa,
Colton Manning, Cody Manning and wife Shannon and C.J. Manning;
Great nieces and nephews, Addison, Jackson and Everett and
A host of other family and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 19, 2020, at the Washington Cemetery.
