Ace Eugene Harper, 16, went to be with The Lord on the morning of January 14, 2013. The son of Jason Eugene and Kari Onea (Lovett) Harper, he was born June 13, 1996 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ace was a student at Blanchard Schools for the majority of his life. He was an athlete, excelling in all sports. Ace was a devoted OU fan, who attended many games with his family. He was not only knowledgeable in the ways of the game, but in all aspects of life. He was a great student that enjoyed playing video games in his spare time. Throughout his life, he was known as a happy guy, who loved to joke around. He had a few very close friends that he liked spending a lot of time with. Ace was cherished by his family, and will never be forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Vernie Ace Martin and great grandmother, Hazel Marie Coleman.
Ace is survived by his mother and father, Kari and Jason Harper of Blanchard; his sister, Aeriel Harper of Blanchard; grandparents, Jerry and Brenda Harper of Oklahoma City, Jane and Ellwood Robinson of Blanchard, Sarah and Dwight Wasson of Okmulgee, and Edom and Rosie Lovett of Louisiana; great grandmother, Joann Martin of Blanchard; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ace will be missed by his very large family, who enjoyed every moment with him.
Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Eisenhour Funeral Home. Funeral service for Ace will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Blanchard High School Gym with interment held in the Washington Cemetery in Washington, Oklahoma. To honor Ace and his love for all sports, please wear your team colors, whether it is a high school, college or pro sports team. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
