Carl Flippin, age 51 of Washington, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
Carl Walter Flippin was born October 2, 1968 in Kingfisher, OK, the youngest of four children born to Ted and Myra (Rhodes) Flippin. He spent his early years in Kingfisher, and later at Talihina where he attended school. Carl graduated with the Class of 1986. From there, he accepted a scholarship to attend college in Kansas. It wasn’t long until he returned back home to Oklahoma and began attending the University of Oklahoma. Throughout the years, Carl obtained several Associates Degrees, all related to Communications and Information Technology. Carl was driven, and you could say he was a professional student, as his desire to learn kept him going back to school. He eventually graduated with a Bachelors of Information Technology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Carl worked in IT most of his life, and the last several years for Nobel Systems. He was a quiet person, and mostly kept to himself. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed solo camping trips, and visited many places all over the country. He was a wonderful son and brother, uncle and friend, and he will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by:
