Tammy Finch, age 58, of Oklahoma City passed away on March 5, 2023.

Tammy Alicia Finch was born on May 14, 1964 in Norman, Oklahoma to Troy Lee Finch and Brenda Finch (Boettler). Tammy grew up in Washington until she moved to Purcell for High School, graduating with the Dragon Class of 1982.

She married young and was blessed with her son Cliff. She worked briefly at the Purcell Municipal Hospital before returning to school to earn her paralegal certification. Tammy worked at several law offices before getting a job with the State of Oklahoma, working with the Disabilities Council for several years until her health forced her to retire.

Tammy and her best friend Karla Hendrix had many adventures over the years crossing things off their bucket list. They visited the beach in Florida, saw ZZ Top in concert, and visited animal rescues and sanctuaries wherever they could. Tammy loved her pets, and especially had a soft spot for racoons. She collected stuffed racoons, racoon jewelry, and artwork too. Tammy loved the simple things in life, and enjoyed the outdoors, and watching a good Lifetime or Hallmark movie. She loved her family and kept in touch with relatives all over the country and often traveled to see them. Tammy was a beloved friend, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her dad, Troy Lee Finch. Her Uncle Lloyd Finch, Aunt Lois Wilson, and her Nephew Richie Finch.

She is survived by her son Cliff Owens and wife Brenna of Oklahoma City; mother Brenda Quilin and husband Carlos of Seminole; Her siblings Amy Ardrey and husband Dave of Norman, Richard Finch of Washington, Chad Finch of Norman. She also leaves behind three grandchildren Grayson, Kynzlie, and Bayleigh-and several beloved cats.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday March 10, 2023 at Washington Cemetery. Send online condolences at www.wilsonlittle.com
