Lonnie Gene Brewer age 56 of Washington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at his home.

He was born on December 1, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the oldest of six children. Lonnie grew up in Dibble, OK and graduated with the high school class of 1978. During his senior year, he drove a Dibble school bus and played sports. He was a standout athlete in both basketball and football and he also loved riding his dirt bike. Because of his love for the outdoors and playing sports, Lonnie played summer league softball for over 25 years, and was a referee for high school football and basketball. In 1980, Lonnie married Cindy Williams and together they raised two daughters, Stefanie and Darcie. While they were growing up, Lonnie was their softball and basketball coach from T-Ball to Jr. High. In the early 1980’s He began working for Gilt Edge Farms in Norman, driving a milk truck. He later went to work for Kraft Foods as a route salesman and became a great salesman, winning numerous sales awards during his 16 years with the company. In 2000, Lonnie started his own business called “Digital Express”, a full service photography studio located in Goldsby. Lonnie worked hard to keep his business going, even in an every changing industry. He was recently expanding his business to drone photography. On December 1, 2012 Lonnie married Laura Dawne Wages and for the past 4 ˝ years they worked together in the photography business in Goldsby. For the past few months they attended church together at Truth Church in Norman where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. Lonnie loved working with his hands, building and making things out of wood. He and Laura also enjoyed gardening together. He will be remembered for his positive attitude, his friendly personality and his love for his family. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Leonard and Rosalee Hawkins, Oren and Artie Brewer; He brother, Timmy Ulin, Two grandchildren, Carson Brewer and Asha Albert;

He is survived by: Wife, Laura Brewer of the home, Two daughters, Stefanie Stephens and husband Brad of Washington, Darcie Albert and husband Chris of Norman, Father, Gene Brewer of Newalla, Mother, Vella Jean Ulin and husband Jerald of Lexington, Two brothers, Randy Ulin and wife Kim of Blanchard, Gerald Ulin of Norman, Two sisters, Debbie Ridge and husband Roland of Denton, TX, Sherri Hickey of Noble, Three step children, Kendra Foster of Norman, Kaleb Foster of Medford, Kendall Foster and wife Randi of Enid; Five grandchildren, Macie, Cason, Cole, Chase and Brayson; Two grandpups, Fantom and Febee; Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Goldsby Baptist Church in Goldsby, OK. Interment will be at the Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington Little League, PO Box 11, Washington, OK 73093. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
