Freida Boettler, age 66, of Goldsby passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023.
Freida Ann Madden was born on August 26, 1956 in Purcell, Oklahoma, the 2nd of 7 children born to Amos J. Madden and Ruth Leona (Dover) Madden. She was the only daughter, and was often looked at as a second mother to her brothers. She grew up in Washington, Oklahoma and graduated with the Warrior Class of 1974.
Shortly after graduating high school, she went to work for Lucent Technology where she was employed for nearly 30 years before she retired. She later went on to work as a CMA at Rambling Oaks Assisted Living, where she fully retired in 2021. She was driven and dedicated to working hard every single day. She always showed up and never missed a day.
One of her biggest accomplishments in life was becoming a mother to her two beautiful children, Nikki and Mike. They shared countless memories that will forever be cherished. One of their favorites was being able to watch football together, whether it was watching Mike play under the Friday night lights or the OU Sooners play on Saturday’s. Freida enjoyed watching “The Voice” and was a huge Morgan Wallen fan. More than anything, Freida was a family woman. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She cherished every moment with them. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by: her father, Amos J. Madden; her brothers, Ricky Madden, Daryl Madden, and Mike Madden.
Freida is survived by: her daughter, Nikki Runge (Justin) of Goldsby; her son, Mike Boettler (Brandi) of Choctaw; mother, Ruth Madden of Goldsby; brothers, Ronny Madden (Judy) of Goldsby, Scott Madden (Connie) of Washington, Brad Madden of Goldsby; 7 grandchildren, Brooke, Blake (Nadya), Blaine, Morgann (Zac), Natalie, Logan, Caden; 3 great grandchildren, Adalynn, Cash, Lukah and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the Washington Cemetery. www.wilsonlittle.com
