Mildred Allison, age 80 of Washington, passed away Monday May 4, 2015 at her home. Mildred Ruth Madden was born November 6, 1934 in Washington, OK, 1 of 11 children born to James Gordon Madden and Celesta Ruth (Estes) Madden. She was raised a farm girl in Washington Community and attended Washington Schools, graduating in 1954. While in school, Mildred was a standout athlete, excelling in both basketball and fast pitch softball. Mildred married her best friend and soul mate, Harold Roy Allison on October 22, 1954. Together they raised 5 children, sons, Larry and Ronald and daughters, Charlotte, Tammie and Tina. Mildred worked tirelessly as a homemaker, caring and providing for her family. She was a wonderful cook and remembered for her biscuits and gravy and chicken and dumplings. Mildred cherished her family. She was an avid Washington sports fan and never missed an opportunity to watch her children and grandchildren compete for the Warriors. She was a member of the Church of Christ and most recently attended church in Lexington. She was a wonderful mother and mammie, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Harold Roy Allison; Her parents, James and Celesta Madden; Brothers, Junior, Paulie, Joel and Gordon ‘Jewel’ and Sisters, Norma Jean Mallory, Betty Jean Smith, Flora Mae Walton and Barbara Ann Madden.

Mildred leaves behind: Sons, Larry Allison and wife Jan of Washington and Ronald Allison and wife Deborah Allison of Washington; Daughters, Charlotte Willis and husband Chuck of Washington, Tammie Wells and husband Dale of Washington and Tina Dean and husband Kevin of Washington; Brother, Freddie Madden and wife Shirley of Choctaw; Sister, Wanda Lee Bourquin of Purcell; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild And a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 9, 2015, at the Union Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home. Send online condolences at wilsonlittle.com
