Joan M. Stringer, of Stratford was born January 9, 1934 in Byars, Oklahoma to Clifford and Gladys (Endicott) Ott.
She passed away September 7, 2014 at Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years 7 months and 28 days.
She was married to Calvin Stringer and they lived in the Stratford area most of their life. She was a great cook and worked at Café 19, along side her mother Gladys, for many years. She was a member of Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her father Clifford Ott, husband Calvin Stringer, one son DeWayne Stringer, two brothers Elmer and Steve Ott, one sister Sharon Kimes, one grandson Clifford Stringer JR.
Survived by two sons, Clifford Stringer & wife Susan, Stratford, OK; Michael Stringer, Stratford, OK; mother, Gladys Cole, Purcell, OK; one brother, John Ott & wife Charlene, Purcell, OK; two sisters, Peggy Ellis & husband Paul, Allen, OK; Gloria McGee, Ada, OK; grandchildren, Randy, Gary, & Jessie Stringer, Page Stringer, Cortney & Ernie Womack, Rodney Gray, Landon Stringer, Rachel Miller & husband Scott, Jared Hall, Tyler Stringer, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grand-daughter
Graveside Services will be held Thursday September 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale, Oklahoma.
