Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Scarberry, 61, of Rosedale were held March 23, 2005 at Rosedale First Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Newville and the Rev. Richard Atzbach officiating. Interment was at Rosedale Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Scarberry died March 19, 2005 at her home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1943 in Ada, the youngest of three children of Henry Jewell Norton and Lottie Vanita McElmurry Norton. She was reared in Ada, attending Ada and Byng schools.
She worked at various jobs and continued living in the Ada area until she met and married Tony Gene Scarberry March 3, 1981 in Oklahoma City. They moved to Rosedale in 1983.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wanda Bowers.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Gene Scarberry, of the home; five children, Brenda Raymond and her husband, Craig, of Michigan, Tony Brent Scarberry and his wife, Jessie, of Stratford, Tony Jackson Scarberry and his wife, Lorrie, of Del City, Julie Robson and her husband, Randy, of Clayton and Faye Riggle and her husband, Richard, of Rosedale; one brother, Charles Norton and his wife, Rita, of Rosedale; one brother-in-law, Lloyd Bowers of Ardmore; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Breault, Bradley Moore, Jarrod McGee, David Wittington Jr., Raymond Hill and Robert Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Hill, Royce Turner and David Wittington Sr.

Tony Gene Scarberry was born to Lewis and Martha (Cossey) Scarberry on June 22, 1934 in Nashoba, OK.
He passed away at his home in Talihina, OK on November 13, 2020. His family was by his side.
Tony was a hardworking man. He workef for Anderson and Scarberry along with Keece Construction, Zuke Construction and Haskel Lemonds Construction. He also worked as a logger, driving a log truck for Lovett Logging and cutting logs for Scarberry Logging. He worked in California for a short while before moving back to Oklahoma.
He married Jewel Ray in 1953 and they had three children, Jack, Julie and Faye.
Later in life he married Patricia Norten of Ada, OK and they had one son, Brent. They lived in Rosedale and raised cattle. He enjoyed camping, going fishing, gardening and flowers.
After Patricia's passing, he married Rosemary Petty of Buffalo Valley, OK in 2013. They lived in Talihina, OK. Together they enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with their family.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Martha Scarberry and his son Brent Scarberry. His wife, Jewel Scarberry and wife Patricia Scarberry. His brother and siter-in-law, Bessie and Marron Wallace; brother and sister-in-law L.J. and Eulita Scarberry; sister, Whonda Sisk; brother-in-law, Charles Anderson; sister-in-law, Billie Sue Scarberry; son-in-law, Randy Robson.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary of the home and children Jack and wife Brenda Scarberry of Del City, OK, Julie Robson of Clayton, OK, Faye Scarberry of Rosedale, OK. His step-daughter, Katie Petty and Blake Johnico of Taliihina, OK, step-daughter, Brenda Raymond of Michigan; step-son, Henry and his wife Melinda Bailey of Clayton, OK. step-son, Jimmy and his wife Lisa Bailey of Madil, OK. Grandchildren Shonda Scarberry, Clancy Scarberry, Patricia Scarberry, Melinda Bailey, Randi Hollaman, Lane Hollamon, Nikkie Riggle, Cody Riggle, Jimmy Robson, and Jason Scofield. Andy and Paula Panell, Shanon and Kevin Carter. Step-grandchildren, Landon Davis, Lottie Raymond, Mary Raymond and Stephanie Raymond. Eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. One sister, Mamie Joe Anderson, and one brother, Kennith and Nora Scarberry as well as numberous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation was on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11am at the Rosedale Cemetery in Rosedale, OK with Bro. Richard Atzbach officiating. Services were under the direction of McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
