Glenn Ray Rutledge Obit

Glenn Ray Rutledge was born to Lynden Wilson and Geneva (Yones) Rutledge on January 14, 1940 in Tribbey, OK.

Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a service technician for two years refueling aircraft. Glenn worked for Grider's Discount Food on SW 29th in Oklahoma City for 40 years as the manager. He was a great story teller and enjoyed the outdoors, trail-riding and hunting. He also loved to tinker with anything mechanical. Glenn enjoyed watching western movies and reading western books. He also enjoyed playing board games with his family. Most of all, Glenn enjoyed being with his family.

Glenn passed away at the age of 79 on November 27, 2019 in Harrah, OK.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Clifford Prigmore along with his brother Kendall and sister, LaDonna.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 58 years, Louella Rutledge. His son, Bill Prigmore and wife and two daughters, Terri Holke and husband and Tammy Mayer and husband. Four grandchildren: Paul Mayer and wife Mandi, Destiny Martin, Kyle Martin and Tyler Martin. Three great-grandchildren: Aubree Martin, Avery Mayer and Laramy Mayer.

Services for Glenn were held at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK on December 06, 2019.
