Judith Ann (Villines) Russell Obit

Judith Ann (Villines) Russell was born to Kenneth and Wanda Marie (Brockett) Villines in Seminole, OK.

Judy grew up in Seminole where she atteneded school and then futhered her education by going to college.

On February 15, 1974 Judy married her best friend, James Russell. They made their home in Oklahoma City.

For a few years Judy worked as a Teacher's Assisant at Cooper Middle School but her passion in life was taking care of her family. She was very active in all her childrends events and this carried over into her grandkids. She never missed an opportunity to support them. This included Campfire girls, football, livestock shows along with anything else her family was involved in. They also ate dinner together every night. She spent her quiet time with a good book.

Judy and James moved to the lake in 2013 and spent their days taking the family boating and fishing.

Judy passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Tulsa with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James E. Russell who passed away on November 14, 2020.

Judy is lovingly survived by her son, Jason Robert Russell and his wife Keri of Weatherford, Texas and her daughter, Tiffani Ann Perry and husband Darren of Fort Gibson, OK. Her grandchildren: Noah Duane Perry and Holli Marie Perry, both of Fort Gibson. Elle Ann Russell and Kate June Russell, both of Weatherford, TX along with her extended family and many friends.

A celebration of Judith's life was held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale, OK with Dr. Henry Petree officiating. Honorary casket bearers are Noah Perry, Kenny Pulliam, Ronald Pulliam, Ken Russell, Michael Knight and Tom Valasquez.

The family requested that in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made in Judy's name to Rosedale Cemetery c/o Brent Boles, 14365 Luper St., Rosedale, OK 74831.

The care of Judith Ann Russell was entrusted to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson, OK by her family.
