Norval Millsap, 80, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

Norval was born November 11, 1932 in Rosedale, OK, to Dewey Hobson Millsap and Elsie (Swinford) Millsap. Norval was the big brother of 5 siblings, John, Don, Jed, Beverly and Kay.

He attended school in Rosedale, Ok and graduated in 1951. Norval married Wilma McCall and together raised 4 children, Mike, Rick, Chris and Monica. Together they started their family in Del City, OK and later moved to Salt Lake City, UT which took Norval closer to the things he loved, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, skiing and camping. He loved to travel and experience new adventures. During his retirement years Norval spent many hours wood working in his shop, creating beautiful pieces of furniture and crafts. January 6, 1987 Norval married Shirley Jones and after retiring from Sinclair Oil, relocated to Sand Springs near Shirley’s children of whom he loved, David, Terri and Sherri. Norval was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He cherished his family, especially his grandchildren. Norval was a hardworking, honest, honorable man and will be dearly missed by all.

Norval was preceded in death by His wife Wilma, his son Mike, and two grandsons Cody and Joshua, his parents Dewey and Elsie and brother Don.

Norval leaves behind His wife Shirley, his children, Rick Millsap and wife Dana of St. George UT, Chris Millsap of Manson, WA, Monica Millsap and husband Ken of Manson, WA, his brothers, John Millsap and wife Mary of Purcell, OK, Jed Millsap and wife Alma of Gilbert, AZ, sisters Beverly McElroy and husband Lee of Bethany, OK and Kay Richardson and husband Larry of Canon, CO, his 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
