Danny “Doc” Lang, of Rosedale, passed away July 8, 2019 in Byars, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years.
Doc, as he was better known, was born April 9, 1954 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Doris E. (Eddlemon) Lang and Odis Odell Lang. The Rosedale area has been his home most of his life.
He was married to Sherrie Hamilton in Rosdale in 1993. He worked in Maintenance at the Pauls Valley Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Pauls Valley for a number of years. Doc loved the outdoors including fishing, camping and doing yard work, as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren and the rest of his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Odis Odell Lang; an infant brother. Odis Odell Lang, Jr.; brother, Randy Lang; and sister, Andrea Boydston.
His surviving family include by his wife, Sherrie Lang of Rosedale; children, Danny Paul Lang and wife, Tracy, of Washington; Tana Lang and friend, Brandon Northrup, of Purcell; and Tommie Brooke of Pauls Valley; his mother, Doris Lang of Rosedale; three sisters, Donna Stufflebean of Rosedale; Kathy Chance of Konawa; and Susie Stringer of Stratford; two brothers, Brent Lang of Wayne; and Barry Lang of Rosedale; eight grandchildren, Mikala, Blake, Alexis, Dustin, Brad, Anthony, Marlee and Maddilyn; as well as a host of nieces nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Jim Odell Richardson. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
