Bill E. Jones of Wayne was born July 26, 1947 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Terrance Powderly and Nora Willeen Jones.
He passed away April 21, 2007 at Wayne, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years.
Bill was raised in Pauls Valley and had worked for Marie Tipton as a carpenter and maintenance for 30 years. The Rosedale and Wayne area has been his home for the past 5 years.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harlon Jones; and two sisters, Rosie Dobbins and Marilyn Moore.
Surviving family include his daughter, Rhonda Hamilton and her husband, George, of Lindsay; one son, Larry Cottrell of Pauls Valley; two step-children, Angie and Billy Hollman; two sisters: Margaret Smith and her husband, Bob and Norma Bryant and her husband, Joe, of Rosedale; three grandchildren: Amanda Broussard and her husband, Dean, Justin Hamilton and Timothy Hamilton; as well as one great-granddaughter, Chloe Broussard.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bro. David Hamilton and Bro. Henry Rush Jr. Interment will be at the Rosedale Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
