Sheryl was born September 2, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Guin E. And Patricia L. (Easley) Fox. She was raised in the Spencer area as well as on Lake Texhoma. She graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1977, before her family relocated to Rosedale.
On July 9, 1982, Sheryl and Billy Farmer were united in marriage in Midwest City, Oklahoma. They made their home in Lexington until 1995 when they moved back to the Rosedale area. Sheryl attended Rose State and East Central, graduating from East Central University in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Health Information Management. She worked for Integris Health Center as a Health Information Manager until her retirement.
Sheryl was a member of the Rosedale Fire Department doing administrative duties as well as dispatching and assisting on medical calls. She had many interests, but her favorites were horseback riding, camping, fishing, driving the tractor, gardening, and working puzzles with her grandson, Eli.
Sheryl never met a stranger, she shared whatever she had. She became a mom to all. She loved the Lord and spending time with her family. Sheryl enjoyed boating and being in the water. She never passed up a garage sale, or the chance to eat ice cream.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Billy of the home; children, Tricia Hobson and husband, Chris, and Josh Farmer; grandchildren, Eli Hobson, Alyssa Hobson and Izaya Farmer, all of Rosedale; siblings, Pam Johnson of Tecumseh and Guinda Monroe of Texhoma and many other relatives and friend.
