Carl Denver Coker was born to John and Nancy Coker on 07 Sep 1923 in Trousdale, OK.
Carl heard his country's call and served in the US Marine Corps. Carl enjoyed reading and building different things. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He passed away on 10 Aug 2012. He lived in Mustang, OK.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lois Coker. His son, Dick Coker and great-grandchild, Peter Uffen.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon Phillips and Nancy Joyner and husband Tony Foley. Five grandchildren, Karl Joyner and wife Lori, Rhonda Uffen and husband Steve, Johnny Joyner, Wendy Unsell and husband Chrles and Bobby Joyner. Eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one brother Kenneth Coker.
Services were held at Brookwood Baptist Church in OKC on Saturday, 18 Aug 2012 at 10am.
Interment was at Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale, OK on Saturday 18 Aug 2012 at 2pm.
Services were under the direction of John M Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
