Raymond Gerry George, 54, was born Oct. 7, 1959, and left this world March 23, 2014, after a hard battle with cancer and a stroke.
He was born in Stratford to Gerald Ray George and Lota Fern David. The preceded him in death as well as a brother, Sanford R. George, grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his fiance, Lisa Kirk of the home; one child, Charlee D. Snider of Florida; two sisters; Gloria Douthit and husband George, Beverly Chap;ine and husband Joe; brother Charles David George and wife Sylvia, all of Shawnee; nephews, Jim Schaefer and wife Deanna, Joey Schaefer and wife Mary Ann, Steven George, Geoffrey George, Little Joe Chapline and niece Jamie Chapline, as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family wishes to thank Heavenly Hospice for all their help and support.
