George D’Wayne Ashley, Sr., of Pauls Valley, passed away March 17, 2015 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years.
D'Wayne was born November 24, 1957 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Paoli has been his home most of his life. He was married to Vickie McDonnell on May 9, 1980; work in Heating and Air Conditioning where he was an HVAC Technician and was a member of Paoli First Baptist Church. He loved his family and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Madie Whitefield; brother, James Ashley; and step-father, Wayne Carpenter.
Surviving family include his wife, Vickie of the home; three children, Veleisa Dodds of Paoli; Lynne Kruse and her husband, Dwayne, of Houston, Texas; and D, J, Ashley and his wife, Vash'ta, of Paoli; grandchildren, Brendon Kruse, Dylan Kruse, Dalen Dodds, Marshall Ashley, Cobain Ashley and Nirvana Ashley; his mother, Tretha Carpenter of Paoli; father, George W. Ashley of Pauls Valley; one sister, Kim McNeill and her husband, Rodney, of Pauls Valley; one brother, Roger Ashley and his wife Mindy, of Paul Valley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Charles Dean and Kemper Kimberlin.
Interment will be at New Johnsonville Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
