Donald Lee Waggoner, 71, died June 20, 2006.

Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, at the First Baptist Church in Blanchard. The Revs. Rob Miller and Ray Sims officiated and burial was in the Blanchard Cemetery. The family received guests on Thursday, June 22. Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard made the arrangements.

Waggoner was born January 2, 1935, in Cole, Okla., to Myrlene (McPherson) and Lawrence Waggoner. Donald graduated from Blanchard High School and earned a Bachelors Degree at OCU. Donald was self-employed as an accountant.

He moved his family from Oklahoma City back to his hometown 33 years ago. Donald was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Blanchard serving as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was a member of many clubs and organizations and was a great community leader.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Blanchard; children, Verdonna Wilkerson and her husband, Jerry, of Blanchard, Alan Waggoner and his wife, Charity, of Blanchard, Mark Waggoner and his wife, Darla, of Blanchard, Cynthia White and her husband, Jeff, of Blanchard; grandchildren Amber Wilkerson, April Wade and husband, Trent, Ronnie Wilkerson and wife, Dawn, Jeff Wilkerson and his wife, Laura, and Patrick Wilkerson and his wife Tiffany, Rachel and Victoria Waggoner, Joshua Waggoner, Jerod Waggoner, Megan Waggoner, Dillon and Dalton Dolezal, Natalie, Whitney and Stephanie White; great grandchildren, Austin Wilkerson, Carson Wade, Zach, Sarah, Emily, and Connor Wilkerson; sister Karen Moran and husband Melton of Noble; mother-in-law, Lula Mae Haygood of Blanchard; numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 370, Blanchard, Oklahoma, 73010.
