Gladys Esteline Andrews, 90, died June 4, 2006.
Services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8 at the Trinity Holiness Church in Blanchard. The Revs. Lendell Birdsong and Joyce Andrews officiated and burial was in the Blanchard Cemetery. Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard made the arrangements. Esteline was born December 23, 1915, in Coleman, Texas, to Myrtle (Young) and Edward Samuel Sharp. She attended school in Buffalo but lived in the Blanchard area most of her life. She married Charlie Andrews on December 1, 1930. Survivors include her sons Sam Andrews and wife Joyce of Blanchard, James Andrews of Tuttle; daughters Lucille Swindell of Blanchard and Carrol Watts and her husband Don of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; sister Lucille Gideon of Marysville, Calif.; brothers Chester Sharp of Lindsay, Calif., Bronell Sharp of Sacramento, Calif., Archie Sharp of Paramont, Calif.; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charlie on March 29, 1988 and two sisters and three brothers. |
