Kristal Shawn Winchester, 42, of Newcastle, died Friday, August 11, 2023, in Newcastle.
The daughter of Kenneth Wayne Carr and Marjorie Lynette (Hahn) Anthony, she was born February 20, 1981, in Oklahoma City.
Kristal was a homemaker and was Baptist in faith. She graduated from Newcastle High School in 1999. Kristal married James Fox Winchester on November 17, 2006, in Newcastle. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, and going to yard sales and auctions. She was always looking for a good deal and loved finding treasures that she could resell online. Kristal was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Carr, and her grandparents.
Kristal is survived by her husband, James Fox Winchester of Newcastle; her daughter Breyawna Winchester of Newcastle; her mother, Lynette Anthony and Randy Philpott of Newcastle; three sisters, Lisa Parker and husband, Christopher, of Missouri, Nikcora Carr of Oklahoma City, and Tammy Scott and husband, Kelly, of Moore; two brothers, Bryan Hollingshead and wife, Randi, of Oklahoma City, and Kenneth Carr of Yukon; her stepmother, Julia Carr of Yukon; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing for family and friends will be from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. The family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Kristal’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Burial will follow in Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
