James Lee Wilson Obit

James Lee Wilson died Thursday 23 February 2017 at age 54.
He was born to Albert and Betty Jean (Epperson) Wilson on 17 November 1962 in Oklahoma City, OK.
James graduated Newcastle High School in 1982 and joined the US Army. He proudly served his country for 23 years, 8 months and 7 days. He retired in 2011.
He was an avid Oklahoma University Fan and in 2016 at the Kansas State University game was honored as “The Patriot of the Game”.
James loved God, his family and his country. He spent all his free time with his kids and grandkids. He was their fishing buddy, little league coach and crossing guard at their school. James was loved by all who kenw him.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents Arley and Mary Epperson and James C. and Essie Bell Wilson.
He is survived by the love of his life Charlene (Mulcahy). His daughters: Jacklyn Montelius and Amanda Southards. His son: Charlie Cagle. His granddaughter Ellie Engle and his grandsons Alec Winslow, Jordan Cagle and Mason Southards. His brother Steven and wife Malinda and brother Jerry. His parents and mother-in-law Helga Mulcahy. His brother-in-law Arthur Mulcahy and David and Roxi Mulcahy and his sister-in-law Mariame Mulcahy along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
His funeral service was held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday 28 February 2017 at Southpointe Church located at 13300 Straka Farm Road in Oklahoma City, OK.
Interment was held at Newcastle Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
