Sharon Kae Perez, 54, of Blanchard, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her home. The daughter of Joseph William and Ramona Virginia (Mantooth) Shipley, she was born July 28, 1959 in Beaver, Oklahoma.
She worked for many years as a nurse’s aide for a nursing home. Sharon married Juan Perez on May 20, 1987 in Newcastle. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening, and working jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Joseph William Shipley and her brother, Arvel Eugene Shipley.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Perez of Blanchard; her two daughters, Patricia Everhart and Amanda Perez of Blanchard; her three sons, David Lee Everhart of Blanchard, Juan Perez of Blanchard, and Steven Perez and his wife, Bobbie, of Newcastle; her mother, Ramona Shipley of Blanchard; her sister, Karen Perez and her husband, Roy, of Blanchard; her two brothers, Eddie Shipley of Newcastle and Freddie Shipley and his wife, Laura, of Kansas; her seven grandchildren, Dalton Loving, Colton Everhart, MacKenzie Everhart, Kylee Everhart, Elizabeth Everhart, Madisun Perez, and Heidi McGill; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Family Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle.
