John Roger Nuner was born to Doyle L and Sylvia M Nuner on September 10, 1946 in Visalia, CA. He passed away on September 7, 2014 at the Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, LA.
John left California in 1960 and moved to Oklahoma City where he attended Southeast High School. After he graduated in 1964 he started his career at Tinker Air Force Base in 1966. In June of 1968 he met Patricia Ann Baxter who lived in Norman, OK. By December of 1968 they were married a the Calvary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and were devoted to each other for 46 years.
In January of 1970, John and Pat had their first daughter, Shani Renee. By Setpember of 1972 they had another daughter, Kimberly Rachelle and their youngest daughter, Theresa Ann was born in May of 1974.
Patricia started working at Tinker Air Force Base in September of 1980. They worked together until 2003 when John retired. He had dedicated 37 years there as an Equipment Speialist.
John and Pat and the girls were members of South Lindsay Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and most recently John and Pat had joined Emmaus Baptist Church where they treasured their Sunday School Class. John was a man who centered his life on God, family and friends. He and Pat had witnessed the salvation of their entire family though the course of their life.
John was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Jerry Lewis Nuner.
John is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann: three daughters, Shani Beeman and husband Patrick of McKinney, TX; Kimberly Scott and husband Dane of Newcastle, OK; Theresa Coryell and husband Chriss of Newcastle, OK. Four grandsons: Justin Christopher Coryell, Christian John Coryell, Cooper Bruce Coryell and George Coften Scott. Two granddaughters: Sydney Beeman and Brittany Nicole Hey and her husband Jeremy. One great granddaughter: Brynlee Ann Hey. One great grandson; Bryer John David Hey. One sister: Joyce Jones.
