Bill, age 72, of Tuttle, OK, died August 22, 2017 after an extended illness.
Bill was born in OKC on January 9, 1945 to Frank and Colleen (Richerson) McCawley. Bill retired as Captain of the Moore Fire Dept. after 22 years of service. He was past president of OSFA; past president of ORFA; president of PFFO; and Moore's Local Union; a member and president of C.C. Riders Car Club and the first professional chimney sweep in OK.
He was preceded by his wife, Judy, in 2013.
Bill is survived by 3 children: daughter Terri (Donald) Patrick, sons Billy (Tonja) McCawley and Robert (Kim&$41; McCawley; a brother Jay &$40;Shirley) McCawley; 8 grandchildren Andrea, Jeremy, Billy, Bradley, Scotty, Stasha, Marcus and Mariley; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 1-8 PM with family present from 5-7 pm. Services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, the 26th, in the Chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service with interment to follow at Newcastle Memorial Gardens.

Judy McCawley, 66, passed away after a long illness.
She was born to Glen and Louise Bell of Canutell, Texas and moved to Oklahoma, where she attended both Moore and Norman High Schools. She married Bill McCawley on May 15, 1964, who survived her, along with her three children, Terri and husband Donnie Patrick, Billy and wife Tonja and Robert and wife Kim; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Bell and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws.
In 1988 she served as President of the Oklahoma State Firefighter Ladies Auxilliary, and on the state board for five years, also serving as President of the Moore Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary. She also spent many years as Secretary / Treasurer at Oklahoma Restaurant Supply, where she retired in 2004. Judy touched everyone she met and will truly be missed. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, Ninnie and G.G., and a wonderful friend to all of her car club friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd from 9:00A ~ 8:00P, while family received visitor from 6-8PM. Services to celebrate her life were at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 24 at Funeral Home chapel, followed by interment at Newcastle Cemetery.
