Ruth Marie House Obit

Ruth Marie House of Oklahoma City, OK passed away 16 Jun 2014. She was born to Charles and Ruth House on February 12, 1963 in McAlester, OK.

Ruth was an ex-police Office and a former animal cruelty investigator. She loved animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and dancing. Ruth was an active reader and writer and had a passion for politics. She will be remembered and deeply missed for her loving heart and lbeautiful spirit.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles House and her grandparents, James and Patsy Bristow.

Ruth is survived by her mother, Ruth Hammontree; brother, Jimmie Hammontree, Jr and wife Aubrey; and her sister, Patti Gail Steen and husband, Clyde. Her nephews and nieces: Levi Steen, Chaz Steen and wife, Tracie, Tate Hammontree, Allsion Hammontree, and Brandi Duncan and husband, Patrick.

Services were held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11 am at the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK. Interment is at Newcastle Memorial Gardens, Newcastle, OK.
