Rannie Young Heare, 74, of Lindsay, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his home. The son of Ransom Lee Schenk and Frances Earle (Trammell) Heare, he was born August 7, 1943 in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
He worked for many years as a truck driver and also raised cattle. Rannie was Christian in faith and was a member of the NRA. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. Rannie went on a cruise last year and loved it. He also loved to eat a good home cooked meal. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ransom Schenk, and Frances and Leroy Heare.
Rannie is survived by his sister, Connie Heare of Miami, Texas; three daughters, Michelle Mayfield and her husband, Ty, of Amarillo, Texas, Holley Williamson and her husband, Scott, of Bushland, Texas, and Janet Wolfe, of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Katelyn Wolfe of Oklahoma City, Hunter Williamson of Bushland, Texas, Brooke Williamson of Bushland, Texas, Madelyn Mayfield of Amarillo, Texas, Brady Mayfield of Perryton, Texas, and Lauren Mayfield of Panhandle, Texas; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle.
