Matthew David Hamilton Obit

Matthew David Hamilton was born 20 Jan 1990 and passed away on Monday 16 Dec 2013 in Springer, NM for injuries sustained in a moter vehicle accident.
Matt and his family lived in Newcastle and he graduated from Newcastle High School in 2009 and Northern Oklahoma College in 2011. He was currently in the PTA Program at OCCC and was to graduate in May 2014.
Family was Matt's greatest love and he was a loving, kind-hearted friend to all who knew him. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Mark of the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman, OK. If you received a hug from Matt his family and friends alike will tell you that it would leave you with a life-long impression of his caring nature.
Matt loved the outdoors and was a wakeboarder, motorcycle rider and avid snow skier.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ernie Hamilton and John Wehling and a cousin, Ryan Stoud.
He is survived by his mother and father, Rick and Michelle Hamilton of Newcastle and his grandmothers, Doris Hamilton of Tryon and Marilyn Wehling of Oklahoma City. His sister, Sara Hamilton of the home and his brothers, Nicholas Hamilton of the home and Tyler Hamilton and girlfriend Crystle Briscoe of Oklahoma City. His girlfriend Lindsey Flatt of Tahlequah and cherished friend Ryan Raberding and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of additional family and friends.
Services were held on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman.
Memorial may be made to St. Mark's Knights of Columbus Chapter 12108, 3939 W. Tecumseh Road, Norman, OK 73072 or to the charity of your choice.
