Linda Gayle Furman Obit

Linda Gayle Furman passed away on 27 March 2016. She was 70 and lived in Blanchard, OK.
Linda was born to James and Millie Holt on 03 May 1945 in Arkansas.
Linda was a Certified Nurses Aid and worked for 12 to 13 years before retiring. She was also a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Linda's first love was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed needlepoint, reading and working puzzle books. Linda enjoyed sewing and repaired her grandchildren's clothing. She had a dog named Bear and loved all animals. She had 2 parakeets and 2 cockatiels that could talk. Linda was a big Oklahoma University fan, and especially enjoyed football. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing plants. Linda enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right and the news. She was also a homemaker. Linda was a loving, jolly person who would always help sometone in need. She was always prompt for all her appointments.
Linda wsa preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Leroy Anderson. Her parents and brother, James Holt Jr., and a sister, Dorothy Lanley.
She is survived by 5 daughters: Katrina Anderson and Roy of Newcastle, OK, June Williams and Henry of Fayetteville, AR, Linda Kay Sixkiller of Oklahoma City, Tammy Wood and Glen of Newcastle, OK and step-daughter, Shelia Smtih and RJ of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her son Vernon Anderson and wife Dana of Newcastle, OK. She has 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great, great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Adrian and Donald Holt, of Lincoln, AR; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, 01 April 2016 at 11 am at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK. Interment was at Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle, OK.
