Joe Fuller, age 64 of Newcastle, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012. Joe Riley Fuller was born February 27, 1948, in Wichita, KS to Glenn Eugene Fuller and Barbara Ann (Wolf) Fuller. At an early age, Joe's family moved to Oklahoma City, where he graduated from Harding High School. While in school, Joe played coronet for the high school band. Joe attended Barber School and began a career as a barber. Joe later worked in the grocery business retiring in July of 2011. He married Sandi Lynch on November 23, 1990 and they made their home in Newcastle. Joe cherished his family. He was a hard worker and a good provider. He loved his wife and was the proud father of 3 children; sons, Dennis and Derek and daughter, Sheri. Joe loved tinkering in his shop working with wood. He was an avid golfer and never missed an opportunity to go to the course. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newcastle.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, Glenn and Barbara Fuller and His brother, Larry Lewis.
Joe leaves behind: His wife, Sandi of the home; 2 sons, Dennis Hoeksema and wife Deborah of Blanchard and Derek Fuller of Edmond; 1 daughter, Sheri Harris of Norman; Brothers, Jack Tolliver of OKC and Bill Lewis of OKC; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and A host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle. Burial will follow at the Newcastle Memorial Gardens. Call 387-2243 for viewing hours. Online condolences at wilsonlittle.com
