Gina Fleehart, age 65, of Blanchard passed away peacefully on September 21, 2023.
Gina Dawn Goad was born on June 29, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the oldest of two daughters born to Vernon Dalton Goad and Charlotte Lea (Wells) Goad. She was primarily raised in the Oklahoma City area, where she attended school, graduating in 1976 from Capitol Hill High School. Shortly after graduating high school, she went to work at the Oklahoma Publishing Company where she was employed for nearly 40 years. She was driven and dedicated to working hard every single day.
By chance, in 1980, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Aaron Lee Fleehart. They were married in August of that year, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Together they raised their two sons, Aaron Nicklas and Casey Lee.
Gina eventually went on to work as an ISD teacher for Bridge Creek Public Schools. Gina loved to travel anywhere and everywhere the road took, and she never missed an opportunity to hit a casino! She was an amazing cook, and will be forever remembered for her famous Mac & Cheese and Lasagna! Gina looked forward to holidays and decorating accordingly. There wasn’t a holiday that she didn’t decorate for, but Christmas was her favorite! She truly was an all-around wonderful person. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a true friend. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Vernon and Charlotte Goad.
Gina is survived by: her loving husband, Aaron Fleehart of the home; sons, Nick Fleehart (Tanis) of Calgary, Canada and Casey Fleehart of Yukon; sister, Gaylynn Reece (Randy) of Blanchard; 4 grandchildren, Alexis, McKenzie, Casen, and Cooper; nieces, Kylie Reece of Norman and Ashlan Reece of Blanchard, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Newcastle Memorial Gardens. www.wilsonlittle.com
