Heather Nicole (Dodson) Burdge was 28 years old when she passed away on Christmas Day.
She was born on 20 September 1988 to Marvin & Sherrie (Cottrell) Dodson. She was born in Norman, Oklahoma.
Heather was married on 12 April 2008 to the love of her life Benjamin Durdge. They were married in Blanchard, OK, where they made their home with their children.
She was humble and kind and an all-around good person and would do anything for her family. She would call her mother in California every morning and talk to her and would call her family with details of her children's day. They always came first with her. She prayed with them and read them a book every night. One of their favorite activities was to go on a picnic together on a golf cart.
Heather loved music and to read. Christian romance novels were her quilty pleasure. Heather taught Sunday School at her church and she taught music at the Christian School
Heather was preced in death by Veda Dodson, her grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Ben Burdge. Their children Brooke, Logan and Weston. A brother: Rusty Dodson and his children Breauna, Maddex and Raiden of Blanchard, Ok. Her parents: Marvin and Sherrie Dodson of Hanford, California. Her father and mother-in-law Dale and Brenda Burdge of Oklahoma City. Her grandfather Joe Dodson of Blanchard, OK. and grandparents Raymond and Kathrin Cottrell of Blanchard, OK. And a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
