Shirley Ann Sharp age 65 of Wayne, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 9, 1950 in Purcell, OK. She was the oldest of four children born to Raymond Isaac Lansdale and Helen Francis (Jones) Lansdale. Shirley grew up in the Purcell and Wayne Communities. She attended Wayne schools and graduated with the class of 1968. While in high school, Shirley played basketball and was the basketball queen in 1968. After high school she attended the Hollywood Beauty School in Norman and became a licensed cosmetologist. She worked in Purcell for most of her career at Sandy’s Beauty Shop. On February 15, 1980, Shirley married Stanley Curtis Sharp of Wayne, OK. Together they raised three children and made their home on a farm in Wayne. Shirley was a Christian and for the past several years, she and Stanley have attended the Calvary Holiness Church in Purcell. Shirley enjoyed being outdoors and going to Lake Texoma with her family. She also enjoyed going to garage sales. She was a wonderful cook and when her grandchildren were growing up she enjoyed babysitting.

She was preceded in death by: One sister, Debbie Lynn Lansdale;

She is survived by: Husband, Stanley Sharp of the home in Wayne; Parents, Helen and Raymond Lansdale of Purcell; Three children, Lea Ann Brown and husband Jurden of OKC, Angela Lack and husband Dean of Purcell, Dan sharp and wife Amy of Blanchard; Two sisters, Carolyn Hodge and husband Butch of Elmore City, Dorothy Beauchamp of Davis, OK. Two sisters-in-law, Donna Gleason and husband Melvin of Edmond, Shirley Puckett of Del City; One brother-in-law, Bruce Sharp and wife Jo Ann of Wayne; Eight grandchildren, Jacie and Whitney Carr, Mariah Brown, Austin and Hannah Lack, Casey , Kassidy and Taylor sharp. Also many others loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.

Interment will be at the Hopping Cemetery in Wayne, OK.
