Jose Guadalupe Rocha Sr. age 50 of Purcell, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 following an automobile accident. Jose was born on February 5, 1965 in Ciudad, Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. He was one of four children born to Jose Rocha and Francisca Sarmientos. Jose grew up a farm boy living in Mexico. At a young age he had a love for horses. This led him to his lifelong career of raising, riding and training horses. Jose married the love of his life, Espetacion Gabirio on November 9, 1991. Together they raised four children and have made Purcell, Oklahoma their home for the past 12 years. Jose has worked for Dr. Sharon Marshall and Riverbend mobile veterinarian services in Lexington, OK for the past 12 yrs. Jose was a family man and attended the First Baptist Church Hispanic Mission in Purcell. He loved being with his family and having family get-togethers where he could cook for them. He will be greatly missed by his family and all of his friends.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Jose and Francisca Rocha;
He is survived by: Wife, Chole Rocha of the home in Purcell; Four children all of Purcell, 2 Sons, Jose Rocha Jr. Fi Rocha 2 daughters, Maribel Guerrero and husband Manuel Rojas Abigail Rocha; 3 sisters, Angelica, Paulina and Deya all of Mexico; 3 grandchildren, Alexa, Joel and Rileigh and one on the way; Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 6, 2015 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell, OK. Burial will be at Hopping Cemetery in Wayne, OK.
