Robert Lehman, age 67 of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the OU Medical Center in Okla. City. Robert Aloysius Lehman was born February 22, 1948 in Pauls Valley, OK, the 2nd of 7 children born to David Aloysius “Al” Lehman and Cora Mae (Gain) Lehman. He was raised in Pauls Valley and attended school there. Robert married young and to this union, 2 sons, Ernest and Robert were born. He later married Geraldine Bratcher and together they raised their 4 children, Jody, Marcy, Floyd and Crystal. Robert worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He enjoyed tinkering on things and was known by many as “Mr. Fix It”. When not working, Robert enjoyed camping with his family and never missed an opportunity to go fishing. Geri passed away in 2002, and a year later, Robert married Teresa Marie Williams, and her children, J.C., Buddy and Kory. Two families became one and they made their home in Shawnee. Robert was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, brother, uncle and true friend. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: His wife, Geri Lehman; 2 sons, Ernest and Robert; A grandson, Quinton Dwain Pitts, Jr; Brother, George O. Lehman, and His parents, Al and Cora Mae Lehman.
Robert leaves behind: His wife, Teresa of the home; Children, Jody Buchanan of OKC, Marcy Sharp and husband Michael of Asher, Floyd Lehman and wife Kerry of Lexington and Crystal McBroom and husband Bobby of Shawnee; 3 step sons, J.C. Little and wife Shelly, Buddy Little and wife Nickole and Kory Little, all of Shawnee; 2 brothers, David Lehman of Lexington and Chris Lehman of Ardmore; 3 sisters, Lottie Wood of Wynnewood, Patty Lehman of OKC and Mary Burge of Marietta; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and A host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hopping Cemetery.
