Elsie Cypert died April 8, 2015 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years 18 days.Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2015 at Wadley's Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow at Hopping Cemetery under the care of Wadley's Funeral Service.

Elsie was born March 21, 1927 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Merle and Gertrude “Gerdie” (Gossage) Teel. Elsie was raised around Ada. She made her home in the Wayne area, and worked for Central State Hospital for many years. Elsie enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, fishing and going to church. Elsie was of the Pentecostal faith.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Gerdie Teel; son, Herbert Teel; sisters, Ethel, Jewel, Beatrice, Geneva; brothers, John, Fred, William and Ed.

Survivors include her son, Michael Teel of Wayne; sister, Dorothy Layton of Wynnewood; brothers, Floyd Teel of Oklahoma City, Perry Teel of Noble; grandchildren, Jeff Teel of Byars, Michelle Teel of Wayne; great grandchildren, Katie, Brandon, Briar and numerous other relatives and friends.
