Karla Jeriece Clark, age 62, of Wayne, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 after an extended battle with cancer.
She was born on October 25, 1957, in Purcell, Oklahoma. Karla was the oldest of three daughters born to Jerrel Lee Penner and Doris Lee (Reynolds) Penner.Karla grew up in Wayne and attended Wayne schools, graduating with the class of 1975.Two years later on July 1, 1977, in Lexington, she married the love of her life, Bobby Harold Clark. Together they lived most of their lives in Wayne and raised four daughters, Lisa, Kristi, Theresa and Patricia.
Karla worked as a fulltime wife, mother and homemaker. She was also a great babysitter to her grandchildren and to her nieces and nephews. She and her family enjoyed spending time together and especially spending time in S.E. Oklahoma staying in cabins in the woods. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows on TV. Spending time on the computer and playing games with her family.She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Jerrell Penner in October 2002,
Doris Lee Penner on August 2006.
She is survived by:
Husband, Bob Clark of the home in Wayne.
Four daughters: Lisa Breckenridge and husband Billy of Wayne,
Kristi Clark of Wayne,
Theresa Clark of Wayne,
Patricia Clark and Tanner Boyd of Wayne.
Four grandchildren: Sarah, Nathan, Kashon and Timber.
Two sisters: Karen Penner of Wayne,
Gaylene Brewer and husband Bobby of Lindsay.
Several aunts and uncles;
Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
Interment will be at Hopping Cemetery in Wayne.
