Mondo Calderon, age 44 of Wayne, passed away Saturday April 16, 2016.
Armando Camilo Calderon was born February 29, 1972 in Lawton, OK. Mondo, as most everyone knew him, was raised in Wayne and attended Wayne Schools. Mondo worked various odd jobs through the years, and most recently in the Grocery business, before disability slowed him. For the last 12+ years, Mondo and Lula Holland have been a strong couple, making their home in Purcell and most recently Lindsay. Mondo loved his family and he was a great friend and companion. He was kind hearted, soft spoken and chose to see the good in everyone. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, however his greatest love was the racetrack. Mondo was a huge NASCAR fan, and hardly, if ever, missed a race. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by: His cousin, Bat Norman in April of 2015.
Mondo leaves behind: His mother, Gayla Flores of Wayne and Father, Jose Camilo Calderon of Houston, TX; His wife, Lula Holland of the home; Children, Ricky Williams of Maysville, Isaac Courange, Erin Courange and Mara Courance, All of Purcell, Amos Holland of Lindsay and Cassaree Mayhan of Lindsay; Seven grandchildren; Several Aunts & Uncles, Cousins and a Host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hopping Cemetery in Wayne. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell
