Patsy Williams, age 84 of Purcell, passed away, Tuesday November 22, 2016, at the Purcell Municipal Hospital. Patsy Ann Trout was born June 7, 1932 on the family homestead, 11 miles south-east of Lindsay. She was the middle child and only daughter born to Claude Houston Trout and Laura Ellen (Smith) Trout. Patsy was raised in the small community of Rush Creek and she attended Hughes schools. It was here in this community she met the love of her life, Everett Lee Williams. They were married on December 31, 1948 in Lindsay. Together they raised 4 children, Angie, Jo Retta, Everett Dale and Pete. Patsy worked tirelessly as a homemaker, caring and providing for her family. She was an excellent cook and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patsy loved cooking, scenic fall drives, and she never missed an opportunity to go fishing. She was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a good friend. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Everett Lee Williams; Son, Everett Dale Williams; Son-in-law, Carl Dean Rains Sr.; Grandson, Carl Dean Rains Jr.; Her parents, Claude and Laura Trout and Two brothers, Roy and Ralph Trout.

Patsy leaves behind: Daughters, Angie Rains of Gordonville, TX and Jo Retta Edwards and husband Kenneth of Enid, OK; Her son, Pete Williams and wife Annette of Purcell; 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and A host of other family and friends.

Private Family Services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
