Evadna Warner, age 88, of Purcell, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, May 4, 2008, at the Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Purcell.

Evadna Whitlow was born September 13, 1919 in Minco, Oklahoma to William Henry Harrison Whitlow and Adaline Elizabeth (Thomas) Whitlow. She grew up near Drumright, Oklahoma in the Pleasant Hill community where she graduated high school in 1937.

Evadna married the love of her life, a young man named Glen Oral Warner on June 24, 1939 in Drumright, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Drumright where they raised two daughters, Glenna Jean and Abby. They moved to Purcell in 1964 and Evadna served 16 years as McLain County Deputy Assessor with County Assessors
D. C. "Casey" Cavnar, Louella to Huddleston and Trish Weeden.

She served as the Purcell First Baptist Church Sunday school teacher to Sunset Estates Nursing Home for 38 years. She was also dedicated to serving world missions.

Evadna and Glen were inseparable and there were no activities or adventures in life that were not shared. They particularly enjoyed serving on the baptism committee.

Evadna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who cherished her family. The love for her daughters, Glenna Jean and Abby, was apparent. Her family and their
friends became her passion and her time with them was her joy.

Evadna's dedication to and faith in Jesus was known to all that knew and met her. Until her death, Evadna continued to enjoy the celebration of her faith, the memory of her husband, love of her family, the joy of "Cubby" baseball and Sooner basketball and football.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Warner, March 18, 2007; her parents, William and Adeline Whitlow; brother, Oscar Whitlow; sister, Opal Hill and husband Dave; sister, Philena "Lena" Sweet and husband John.

Evadna is survived by two daughters, Glenna Jean Kincade of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Abby Klepper and husband Tommy, Captain, USN retired, of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Jerry Kincaid, USN retired, Glenn Kincaid and wife Vicki, Tommy Klepper and wife Samantha and Michael Klepper and wife Barbara; great-grandsons, Daniel, Jesse and Christopher Kincade; great-granddaughters, Kerry McCoy and Krystal Kincade; and two great-great-grandchildren, David and Brookelynn McCoy.

The family would like to thank the dedicated Sunset Estates family, Loving Care Hospice staff and Country Tyme Gardens Assisted Living family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Purcell, with Rev. Blake Western officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson – Little Funeral Home.

Evadna's favorite charities were the Purcell First Baptist Church Mission Fund and the Falls Creek Baptist Youth Assembly.

Glen Oral Warner, 87, of Purcell, Oklahoma, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Sunset Estates, Purcell, OK and went home to be with his Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure.

He was born October 1, 1919, in Max Creek, MO, to Mary and John Earl Warner. He grew up in Drumright, OK and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. Glen married his loving wife, Evadna Whitlow, June 24, 1939. Young Glen Warner worked with Mid Continent Oil Company 'Uncle Mid' until answering the call to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Army on Okinawa in WWII. After his service as Staff Sergeant in the Army and return to the oil fields of Oklahoma, Glen worked as a pumper with Sunray DX Oil Company. Glen also worked as a real estate agent with M&M Klepper Real Estate. Glen became an ordained deacon with the First Baptist Church, Drumright, OK, on June 27, 1952 and served countless roles with First Baptist Churches of Drumright, OK and Purcell, OK. He taught Sunday School and considered his class as true friends in Christ. Glen and Evadna were inseparable and there were no activities or adventures in life they did not share together. His love for his daughters, Glenna Jean and Abby, was apparent every day. His grandchildren became his passion and his time with them was his joy. His faith in Jesus and dedication to the Lord was seen by all that knew and met him. Until his death, Glen continued to enjoy celebration of his faith, the love of his wife and family, and the joy of Sooner basketball and football.

Glen was preceded in death by parents, Mary A. (Norris) and John Earl Warner.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Evadna Warner; daughters, Glenna Jean Kincade, Abby and husband, Tommy Klepper CAPT/ USN (Ret); grandsons, Jerry Kincade, Glenn Kincade and wife, Vicki, Tommy Klepper and wife, Samantha, and Michael Klepper and wife, Barbara; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Jesse, Kerry and Krystal; two great-great grandchildren, David and Brookelynn; brother, Earl Thomas Warner and wife, Susan; sister, Ruby Stokes and husband, Red.

The family would like to thank the Sunset Estates Nursing Home staff, Loving Care Home Health and Hospice staff, and Country Tyme/ Westbrook Gardens Assisted Living.

Services will be Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Purcell, OK, with Blake Western officiating. Interment is to follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Falls Creek, or an elder outreach program at your church. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
