Owen Franklin Walker died April 21, 2021 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Frank was born April 21, 1945 in Duncan, Oklahoma to J.M. and Mary Lee (Miller) Walker. He was raised and attended school in Marlow, Oklahoma. Frank married Denise Trejo on September 17, 1980 in Lexington, Oklahoma. He was inducted into the United States Army on September 14, 1964. He was transferred into the United States Army National Guard and was honorably discharged on July 5, 1968. Frank worked as a mechanic for many years, until his retirement in May of 2000, however, he still loved working on cars and tractors. Frank enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, taking road trips or just cruising around and usually getting lost. Frank loved spending time with his family and friends, and normally telling a blonde joke or two.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, J.M and Mary Walker; his son, Joshua David Walker; his grandson, Geoffrey Lee Walker; and his sister, Mary Jo Whitaker.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Walker of Purcell; his son, Steve Walker of Oklahoma City; his son, Buster Walker and wife, Kimberly of Mustang; his daughter, Carmen Davis and husband, Mark of Grand Junction, CO; his daughter, Jonie Murphy and husband, David of San Antonio, TX; his son, John Paul Fuentes of Norman; his son, Robert Walker and wife, Nancy of Union City, OK; his son, Caleb Walker of Purcell; his brother, Richard Rains and wife, Marilynn of Purcell; his brother, Roger Rains; his sister, Barbara Hardcastle and husband, Bud of Purcell; 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
