Donnie Glen Triplitt, 57, of Blanchard, died Monday, July 27, 2020, in Oklahoma City. The son of Daniel Glen Triplitt and Ruth Laverne (Jones) Triplitt, he was born September 30, 1962 in Pauls Valley.
Donnie married Shannon Julia Luchia Ceresia on February 24, 2000 in Chickasha. He worked for many years as a forklift operator in a grocery warehouse. He was Christian in faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing, and camping. Donnie also enjoyed playing basketball, and watching sports, especially the OKC Thunder and OSU. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Triplitt.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Shannon Triplitt, of Blanchard; five children, Daniel Triplitt of Blanchard, Johnathon Hutchins and his wife, Alyssa, of Blanchard, James Hutchins of Lindsay, Donnie Glen Triplitt, Jr. and his fiancée, Larissa Stratford, of Moore, and Emmalie Ruth Triplitt and her fiancé, Brandon Mitchell, of Edmond; three grandchildren, Nachelle Hutchins, Harlow Hutchins, and Phoenix Hutchins; his mother, Ruth Triplitt, of Bradley; one sister, Sonya Barrington and her husband, Steve, of Bradley; two nephews, Joshua Barrington and his fiancée, Hailey Terry, of Bradley and Jonathan Barrington of Bradley; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside funeral and burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
