Cliff Tippit, age 47 of Bedford, TX, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Clifford William Tippit II was born September 10, 1966 in San Antonio, TX, the youngest of 6 children born to William Kenneth Tippit and Wilma Lou (Beaver) Tippit. As the son of a Military Officer, Cliff spent most of his childhood following different assignments, living in various communities. He graduated from Trinity High School in Bedford, TX in 1984. Cliff began working in construction, and decided to go back to school. He graduated from the ITT Technical Institute in Arlington, TX, with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Computer Aided Drafting. Cliff loved his work and looked forward to creating and designing projects. He most recently worked for/at Faubion Assoc. in Dallas. Cliff married Valerie May, and to this union, a son Arlo was born. Cliff loved music, and was a gifted guitar player. He later married Lori Annette Smith and they made their home there in Bedford. He was a wonderful husband and father, brother, uncle and a true friend. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: His father, William Kenneth Tippit and A brother-in-law, Richard Brown.
Cliff leaves behind: His wife, Lori Tippit of the home; His son, Arlo Tippit of Salem, MA; His step son Zack Newhouse and wife Malia of Arlington His step daughter Annie Rushton and husband Aaron of Bon Aqua, TN His mother, Wilma Tippit of Belton, MO; His brother, Duane Tippit and wife Cheryl of Arlington, TX; 4 sisters, Gail Whittaker and husband Darrell of Cornville, ME, Connie Bulat and husband John of Cibolo, TX, Linda Sessions and husband Allan of Raymore, MO and Karen Fletcher and husband Jeff of Belton, MO; Several cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2014, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., before the service.
