Alan Lee Sutton, age 58 of Purcell, passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2014. Alan was born October 13, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Lucille Susie Sutton. He was raised in Purcell and attended Purcell Schools, graduating in 1975. After school, Alan began working at the Purcell Golf Course as a grounds keeper, and retired after more than 27 years of dedicated service. Alan was a quiet and gentle soul and a good friend to many. He was a member of the Bowman Chapel United Methodist Church in Purcell. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him!

He was preceded in death by: His aunt, Novie Cox; Brother, S.J. Sutton; Sister, Annette Sutton and A cousin, Patricia Marks.

Alan leaves behind: Mother, Lucille Sutton of OKC; 2 brothers, Michael and Toby Sutton of OKC; His aunt, Edna Bullock of Purcell; Cousin, Sherry Martin and husband Horace of Purcell; His adopted family, Gerald and Regina Hayes and family; Bob Delaney and wife Shelly and daughter Kim; Teresa and Dustin Martinez; Several other Bullocks, Cox and Brown’s family and a host of friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, December 8, 2014, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
