Aletha Ernesteen Sinclair age 94 of Moore, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Norman Regional Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1922 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Aletha was the oldest of five children born to Ernest Aaron Julian and Gladys (Jordan) Julian. During her growing up years she lived in Purcell and attended Purcell schools. She later married Jewel Dean McWethy in 1938 and together they raised three children, Janet, Larry and Johnny. Aletha later was married to Bob Jones of 18 years, then after he passed away she married Bob Sinclair. Aletha lived and worked in various towns throughout her life. She lived in Purcell, Oklahoma City, Ardmore, New Mexico and for the past 40 years she resided in Moore, OK. In her earlier years she worked for American Airlines and later for Western Electric; however, most of her working years, she worked as a Private Process Server for Oklahoma County. Aletha had one favorite past-time and that was playing bingo. Over the years she enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren to play bingo. She loved her family and especially loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Ernest and Gladys Julian, Three Brothers, Vernon Julian, Jimmy D. Julian and a two-year-old brother, Donnie Reese Julian; one grandson, Johnny McWethy;
She is survived by: Daughter, Janet Brinlee and husband Dean of Moore, Two sons, Larry McWethy and wife Linda of Moore, Johnny McWethy of McLoud, OK. One brother, Dellas “Dale” Julian and wife Opal of Port, TX; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. Also several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
